system_2d flag in EPW is not working

Dear EPW developers and users,

I am trying to calculate the superconducting properties of 2D system.
I am using EPWv5.6 and QEv7.1 for my work.

While running the epw calculations after successfully completing phonon, scf and nscf calculations I am getting the following error:

Reading input from standard input
WARNING - 2D - WARNING - 2D - WARNING - 2D - WARNING - 2D
The use of 2D interpolation is experimental for now
Use with caution

In my input I switched on the flag system_2d = .true. which is making a problem.

Could someone help me how to resolve the issue?

Hi Sujata,

The system_2D (interpolation for 2D systems) flag is not available in EPW 5.6/5.7. It will be released in EPW version 5.8 in a couple of months with the release of quantum espresso version 7.3.
If you want to use it now, you can download a developer version of EPWv5.8 here "https://gitlab.com/epw/q-e.git".
