Dear EPW users,
I am a newbie of EPW.
I am interested in the nesting function and the electron-phonon coupling from EPW code. I try to run the test 01 where I saw the nesting function is set to .true. However, I can not file where the output of nesting function? Is there possible to calculate similar result as this study: http://journals.aps.org/prb/abstract/10 ... .90.081103 ?
is it possible to calculate the nesting function and electron-phonon coupling strength for different phonon branches in q-space? An example is figure 2 in http://journals.aps.org/prb/pdf/10.1103 ... .77.180507?
Thank you for all your help.
With best wishes,
Loc

Re: Nesting function
Dear Loc,
The nesting function can be found in the main output file.
I cannot find nesting function in that paper: http://journals.aps.org/prb/pdf/10.1103 ... .90.081103
For the other paper (http://journals.aps.org/prb/pdf/10.1103 ... .77.180507) the answer is yes its possible. In fact I think the authors used EPW for this paper (they developed the original EPW code).
Best,
Samuel

Re: Nesting function
Dear Samuel,
Thanks for your prompt reply.
In the first paper, they calculated the electron susceptibility, the imaginary part is representative for the nesting factor. By the way, I found the nesting function in the output file.
Is it possible to calculate the nesting function for each phonon branch? If possible, could you give me some hints how to do it?
And the same case with the second paper, how the phonon coupling of each phonon branch is extract?
Thank you again for all.
With best wishes,
