Dear users,
I want to calculate electron-electron scattering rates in metal based on GW approximation and RPA as shown in this paper (
http://journals.aps.org/prl/abstract/10 ... 102.076803) . Is it included in the EPW ? Please let me know.
Thanks
Ajit

Dear Ajit,
Within EPW you can only calculate the electron-phonon scattering rate; the electron-electron one needs to be computed using a GW code.

Dear Carla,
Thanks for your reply. Is there a GW code within Quantum espresso ? If not, can you please direct me to any available codes?
Thanks
Ajit

Dear ajitkv,
You can use the Yambo code:

Dear Samuel,
Does the yambo code also calculates electron scattering rates due to phonon scattering like EPW? I read some discussion on the yambo website, but it was not explicitly specified. So, i am curious. Please let me know
Thanks
Ajit

Dear Ajit,
To my knowledge, it does not.
