Hello,
It very difficult to say like that. Usually it is connected with some feature of the electronic bandstructure there (you need to print the Wannier interpolated one with EPW using the band_plot keyword). You can also look at the phonon bandstructure to see the optical frequency at which phonon emission/absorption will start.
For the IFC thing, the keyword asr_type = 'crystal' works but you need a more recent version than QE6.1
