Dear developers,
Excuse me, I am sorry to trouble you. Here, I put forward an little idea about considering the phonons of different temperatures.
We all know the EPW can read directly the ifc.q2r file to get the information of phonons. We can use the TDEP or orther softwares to combine the harmonic and quartic anharmonic interaction to genenrate the effective second order Interaction Force constants (IFCs). Next, we can transform the effectvie second order IFCs format to the specific format that EPW or QE can read. Thus, we can consider the phonons of different temperatures in the phonon self-energy calculation of EPW. Is this technique suitable? If there are problems, please tell me.
Best wishes

Re: Questions about phonon self-energy of different temperatures
Dear Yd Huang,
I have never tried it but it sounds like a good idea.
Let us know if you are able to make this work. Would be very interesting !
Best,
Samuel
