Dear All,
Just a quick question about the output of the calculation of the total integrated lambda, the el-phonon strength . When the degaussq parameter is not defined in the input, it will be set to the default value 0.05 meV. However the Eliashberg function is outputted for 10 values of degaussq starting from 0.05 meV and ending at 0.5 meV. Why is lambda_tot only outputted for one value pf degaussq (presumably 0.05 meV)? or is there a file, I am not aware of , that gives the lambda values at various degaussq?

Re: lambda at various values of degaussq
Dear Elio,
There is no phonon smearing in the expression for lambda_tot. It is calculated according to Eqs. (3)/(4) and (5) from Computer Physics Communications 181 (2010) 21402148. If you set delta_approx = true in the input file Eqs. (3) and (5) are used, otherwise Eqs. (4) and (5) are used. In the first case the degaussw smearing for the delta functions will be used in Eq. (3).
Best,
Roxana

Dear Roxana,
Thank you for your reply. I will be looking carefully at the equations in the paper you mentioned.
