BAD TERMINATION OF ONE OF YOUR APPLICATION PROCESSES

Post by bkarki724 »

Hi,
My epw calculation for a system runs for a while and stops with message as :

Fermi energy is calculated from the fine k-mesh: Ef = 8.027566 eV

===================================================================

ibndmin = 8 ebndmin = 7.908 eV
ibndmax = 9 ebndmax = 8.147 eV

Number of ep-matrix elements per pool : 6300 ~= 49.22 Kb (@ 8 bytes/ DP)

A selecq.fmt file was found but re-created because selecqread == .FALSE.

Hello,

It seems that the inputs could be fine.
Could you provide the full backtrace of the problem ?

Thanks,
Samuel

Hi bkarki724,

I think you are running out of memory. I would suggest to increase the memory in your calculation.

Thanks!
