Dear All,
I am doing the example of GaN-II at https://docs.epw-code.org/doc/GaN-II.html
All the parameters are unchanged except for the cpu cores.
epw1.in epw2.in are correctly done.
When the last run for epw3.in, the following error occurs

A restart.fmt is present but not the Fepmatkqcb1 folder

How to fix this error?

Thanks

Dear calos818:

Some examples in the Tutorial page are out of date and they don't work with the recent versions of EPW.

If you are using the recent version of EPW (I always would recommend it), you need to check the examples in the 2021 EPW virtual school at https://epw2021.oden.utexas.edu/74-schedule .

Sincerely,

H. Lee

Dear calos818,

I do agree with H. Lee that you could try using the latest tutorial on mobility from the school.

However, in the particular case of the https://docs.epw-code.org/doc/GaN-II.html tutorial, it is based on
the QE test-suite which means that it should be working (this is tested every night).

Therefore you could try running first the test-suite yourself. In the QE folder do:
cd test-suite
make run-custom-test testdir=epw_mob_polar

If this is working, then you are fine.

EDIT: Note that you need to remove the restart.fmt file between epw2.in and epw3.in run.

Best,
Samuel
