Colorbar of the figure regarding the gap on FS

Post by hellolori »

Dear all,

Recently, I learn to reproduce the Fig.6 of the website http://epw.org.uk/Documentation/MgB2 by watching the video providing by EPW. I am now close to success except a problem that I don't know how to reproduce the colorbar of the figure. Can I get it directly from VESTA? Or need I plot it myself? How to get the data of the colorbar?

Bests!

Hello,

Indeed I struggled quite a lot to do that plot !

I first tried Matlab https://stackoverflow.com/questions/358 ... tered-data

Then I moved to Matematica: https://mathematica.stackexchange.com/q ... d-colorbar

In the end the best was VESTA.

I'm afraid I forgot about the colorbar. I think VESTA does provided it (look into the VESTA manual).

Otherwise you can always generated it elsewhere with the same color range and add it.

Best,
Samuel

Thanks for trying out all this and posting, Simuel. I would have thought Metlab would have no issue whatsoever with this. And I believe you're right about VESTA and colorbar.
