Re: How to plot the absolute of the e-ph coupling matrix ele

Dear EPWers? I still have some difficulty in visualizing the square e-ph matrix elements in the revision of ephwann_shuffle.f90 file. Did anyone have the successfully realized code to output this information and could you post it (or email me)? I am eager to analyze some results. Thank you for the ...

How to plot the absolute of the e-ph coupling matrix element

Dear EPW developers: I want to visualize the absolute value of the e-ph matrix element (as like Fig4 in Nano Lett. 2014,14,1113-1119). Could you please tell me in which file the information is (epmatwp or others?) and the corresponding code structure to output the file. It is better if there is any ...

Re: Anisotropy in resistivity in 2D materials

Dear Samuel,
Many thanks for your reply.

I have no idea how to proceed on this part.
Should I just use a revised the Ziman formula or something more on the codes?
Can you introduce some related materials (publications) to me (jzhang1991@iphy.ac.cn)?

Thank you for your help.
Best,
Jin

Anisotropy in resistivity in 2D materials

Dear EPW developers/users: I was trying to calculate the intrinsic resistivity of a metal (as an extension of fcc Pb in tutorial) and some puzzles appeared in these days. In my understanding, the total (isotropic) resistivity is calculated by averaging the resistivity from all q points defined by ...

Re: transport properties of Pb

Dear Samuel,
Another question, how does EPW treat the anisotropy of resistivity in real materials?
Best?

transport properties of Pb

Dear EPW developers/users: I am trying to reproduce the data in the tutorials (FCC Pb). I have some puzzles. *What is the difference between the Eliashberg function in Figure 3 and isotropic spectrol fuction in figure 4 . *When i am trying to calculate the resistivity (figure 5), how to generate the ...

questions about the parameters

Dear EPW users, I am learning how to use EPW code to perform some researches. At first, I have run and analyzed the examples provided in the EPW package (in QE.6.0) carefully and there are some questions about the parameters. Thus, I need your help. *Before running epw.x, I am confused how to set K ...
