Re: Scattering rate

Hi,

I found that it is true for phonons either as shown as the equation 146 in the paper F. Giustino, Electron-phonon interactions from first princiles (2016).

The "2" in phonon linewidth equation comes from the degeneracy of spins.

Scattering rate

Dear developer and users, I know similar questions have been answered. However, I still want to make sure how to convert linewidth to scattering rate. I know the below equation should be correct for electron from the Equation 61. The scattering rate in ( 1/s ) = 2/hbar * linewidth in eV Is it also c...

Re: Eliashberg function for GaN example

Hi,

I found the same problem with the same error message. The reason in my case is that I forgot to put pp.py and pp.in into the folder.

Because pp.py doesn't have any output, my script didn't give me any error message until the EPW step.

Hope you find this helpful.

Re: Error: examine the output/error file for details

Hi, I had the similar error. 1. You can run the test examples, and see if it works. 2. If it works, then check your pseudopotential of your failed run. EPW doesn't support PAW PseudoPotential type. I was using PAW pseodopotential for Si, and it works. But if I use PAW seodopotentials for SiC, and I ...
