Why some superconductors have a large λ but a low Tc? Is it because mass renormalization dominates in these system?

Dear all We konw some superconductors have a large λ but a low Tc, some have a small λ but a high Tc. Why they are different? From the Eliashberg equations, we kown renormalization function is associate with the λ and Tc. Is it because λ contributes to mass renormalization in system with large λ low...

the renormalization function Z(k,iω_n ) effects on the λ and the Tc

Dear sir We know that anisotropic Eliashberg equations are composed of the superconducting gap Δ(k,iω_n ), the renormalization function Z(k,iω_n ), the EPC λ, and the Temperature T. Can anyone tell me how the renormalization function Z(k,iω_n ) effects on the λ and the Tc ? I find some materials hav...

superconducting gap on Fermi surface

Dear all I plot the XX.fs.frmsf and XX.imag_aniso_gap0_005.00.frmsf files using the Fermisurfer program. They are different in bands. Does the XX.imag_aniso_gap0_005.00.frmsf file plot some gaps not on the Fermi surface or these gaps are not convergent? I think the Fermi surface shoud be same plot b...

different Eliashberg spectral function a2F in epw and PHonon

Dear all When I calculate the Eliashberg spectral function in EPW and PHonon(the module in QE), I found they are different. Especially, the DOS near 0 frequency jumps sharply in EPW but not in PHonon. And the lambda caculated in EPW seems too large, so strange! Maybe something wrong in the Phonon sp...

Error in routine read_disp_pattern (1):

Hello Everybody I run the ph.x to calculate phonon dispersion separate single q point in different machine for faster. And after that, I collect the "dyn dvscf" file for running EPW by manual. (which can collect by the pp.py script automatically if calculate q in normal ways). Then when I run epw.x, ...
